How do I store the Shortbread?

Dueling Grandmas Shortbread is designed to be eaten and enjoyed, it’s not designed to sit on a grocery store shelf for months and months. Because of that the three best ways to store your shortbread are:

The Freezer - Dueling Grandmas Shortbread will stay perfect for months and months in the freezer. They thaw very fast, but if you’re in a hurry microwave them for about 5 seconds. My Dad’s loves the shortbread right out of the freezer.

The Refrigerator - I personally love the shortbread chilled. I love the texture, firm yet still with the wonderful crumb that shortbread brings, and bursting with flavor. If I plan on eating these over the next few weeks I’ll keep them in the Refrigerator.

The Counter (or your special hiding place) - Dueling Grandmas Shortbread is wonderful at room temperature. They will stay fresh for days and days plus typically they’re eaten long before they would have a chance of going stale.

How is the Shortbread Packaged?

Dueling Grandmas Shortbread are individually wrapped and then placed in gift box surrounded with tissue paper. The Dress MacKenzie Tartan gift boxes are designed to be mailed, so when you order just one gift box, the gift box is the shipping box. When you or your gift recipient see that MacKenzie Tartan box at your front door, you will know what goodness awaits you! Because of the way the box is designed and the way the shortbread are put inside the box your shortbread can and will survive the it’s trip all across the USA.

Orders of two or three gift boxes are put into shipping envelopes and four or more are put into a larger shipping box.

How are Gift Messages handled?

First, please remember to sign your gift message, we always want to let your special someone know who sent them the wonderful gift of Dueling Grandmas Shortbread.

Your Gift Boxes are put together for your order, so when you gift one box for shipping, your gift message is put inside the box. When your gift recipient opens their box they will be greeted first by your message. When gifting more than one box your gift message will be put on top of the shortbread boxes inside the shipping package.

Every variety of shortbread contains Wheat and Milk

Millionaires, Raspberry, Lemon, Almond also contain Soy.

Almond, Pecan, Coconut contain Nuts

The Shortbread is made in a Multi-use facility.

How are the deliveries made?

The deliveries are either sent via UPS Ground or USPS Priority depending on the address.
